The Tandem Region Times (TRT) is a  online newspaper about a fictitious Canadian municipality called Tandem Region where the stories are speculative fiction. The site also publishes stories from a frightening, obtuse alternate reality that shares a dimensional rift with Tandem Region, which is where the highly experimental writers can go to play around. Reports are intended to adhere to conventional journalistic format, akin to something you would find in a community newspaper. However, considering the subject matter, we play loose with the rules. Tandem Region is a fictional Canadian municipality composed of 4 towns: Laughing’s End, Hatchet Hill, Spinning Head, and Museum City. As the site grows and more stories are run, the area will come into focus. Its geography, demographics, culture, art scenes, topography, and public institutions are constantly being defined and will continue to be on an ongoing basis.
